Hi! I’m Mary Beth. I’m an author and editor. My books have received many starred reviews and have won or been shortlisted for awards including the YALSA Excellence in Non-Fiction for Young Adults Award, the SCBWI Golden Kite Award, and the Silver Birch Award. My work has been translated into several languages.
I love collaborating on the creation of books, animated films, and other projects. I believe deeply in the power of children’s books to expand our world, ignite original ideas, and build empathy.
